From vines first planted in 1972 to the handcrafted small-batch wines poured today, Burnt Acre Vineyard has always been about patience, passion and purpose. When we first sat down with Cliff and Maureen, it was clear that every element of their craft — from the soil to the cellar — carried meaning.

Our goal was simple: to create a website that embodied that same sense of care and connection. One that not only told their story but invited people into it.

A Foundation Built on Philosophy

Before any design began, we spent time with Cliff and Maureen at the vineyard — exploring their story, their values, and the way they speak about wine. Those early strategy sessions shaped everything that followed.

We discovered that Burnt Acre isn’t just about the wine itself — it’s about the experience of sharing it. That sense of grounded sophistication and genuine hospitality became the cornerstone of the website’s design direction.

An Afternoon at Burnt Acre

Kira, Alyssa and Michelle escaped to the vineyard for an afternoon of taste, texture and curation — capturing the kind of experience you can have when savouring a Burnt Acre wine.

Every element was intentionally styled — from Maureen and Cliff’s beautiful collection of glassware and linen to hand-curated platters that told their own story of connection, flavour and simplicity.

The result? A photoshoot that felt more like an afternoon shared with friends — warm, slow, and full of good wine and conversation. Captured beautifully by Michelle, these images celebrate the heart of Burnt Acre — where every bottle is best enjoyed surrounded by people, stories and time well spent.

A Digital Experience Designed to Be Savoured

We wanted every interaction — from exploring the wines to joining the club — to feel beautiful, curated and flavourful. A sensory experience that makes you almost taste the wine through the screen.

The new site now features:

  •  A refined Shop showcasing their full range of small-batch wines.

  • An elegant Wine Club with exclusive membership tiers.

  • A dedicated Vineyard Experiences section — offering tastings and private dining that go beyond the bottle.

  • A new Stockists page highlighting where to find Burnt Acre wines across Victoria.

This project was more than a design refresh — it was about translating a legacy brand into an online space that feels timeless and tangible.
