Handle Bar is a well-known and much-loved venue, known for its live music, curated drinks offering and strong connection to the local community.
Located in the heart of Bendigo, it has built a reputation as a go-to destination for both emerging and established artists — a space where people come together to experience live music in a setting that feels energetic and welcoming.
Our relationship with Handle Bar spans over six and a half years — a long-standing creative partnership that has grown alongside the business.
From the early days of supporting their event promotion through gig guide design, to evolving their digital presence through website design and development, our role has been to consistently translate the Handle Bar experience into thoughtful, engaging creative.
This has been a collaboration built on trust, consistency and a deep understanding of the brand — allowing us to create work that not only supports the day-to-day operations of the venue, but strengthens its connection with its audience over time.
A Long-Term Creative Collaboration
Over the years, we’ve worked closely with the Handle Bar team to support their ever-changing event schedule and vibrant brand presence.
This has included the design of 80+ gig guides, each one tailored to reflect upcoming artists, events and the energy of the venue.
The result is a cohesive yet dynamic visual presence that keeps their audience engaged and informed.
A Website That Captures the Experience
In 2022, we partnered with Handle Bar to redesign and relaunch their website, creating a platform that better reflects the atmosphere and offering of the venue.
Led collaboratively by Kira and Alyssa, the website was designed with a long-scrolling homepage that guides users through the full Handle Bar experience.
The site brings together:
A clear and engaging overview of the venue
A seamless way to explore what’s on
The structure allows users to move naturally through the content — mirroring the relaxed, welcoming feel of the venue itself.
