Hey, I’m Alyssa!
Co-Owner, Lead Creative & COO of The KH Studio
My passion has always been helping business owners succeed through creative visuals. For me, design isn’t just about making something look good — it’s about capturing a business’s purpose and translating their offering into an authentic, strategic and purposeful brand identity.
Since joining The KH Studio in 2019 as a Graphic Designer, I’ve had the privilege of growing alongside the business. Today, I’m proud to be Co-Owner alongside my wife, Kira, and to lead our studio as both Lead Creative and Chief Operating Officer.
My Background in Design
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design & Visual Arts (Honours), and my foundation in design has always been grounded in strategy, the craft and thoughtful execution.
With years of experience across branding, print collateral and visual identity development, I bring a deep understanding of how design functions both creatively and commercially. From large-scale brand identities to refined print pieces and campaign rollouts, I care about the detail — because detail is what elevates good brands into memorable ones.
I believe strong design should feel aligned, intentional and enduring. It should support business growth while still carrying heart.
Leading Creative Direction
As Lead Creative at The KH Studio, I guide our clients through the KH Brand Experiences — shaping their visual identities, refining their messaging direction in collaboration with the team, and ensuring every touchpoint feels cohesive.

Whether we’re launching a new brand, evolving an established one, or rolling out a campaign, I focus on clarity, confidence and consistency in every outcome.
Studio Operations & Leadership
Beyond creative direction, I also lead the day-to-day operations of the studio as COO.
I oversee team delegation, project flow, shoot coordination, event planning and campaign execution for our marketing clients.
I genuinely enjoy structure, planning and bringing calm to complexity. Strong creative work requires strong operations behind it — and I take pride in building systems that allow our team to thrive and our clients to feel supported.
Watching our studio grow from a small design business into the thriving, multi-skilled team we are today has been incredibly rewarding.
Community & Hospitality
Outside of the studio, I’ve been deeply involved in supporting the independent Australian beer and hospitality industry for over a decade.
I’m the current Treasurer of Bendigo Beer and I’ve served as committee member since 2013, helping organise and host Bendigo on the Hop — the largest independent beer festival in Central Victoria. I’m also a Co-Founder and current Sponsor of Bendigo Brewing.
Championing unique hospitality venues and supporting the independent beer community is something I care about deeply. It aligns closely with the kinds of bold, community-led brands we love to support through The KH Studio.
Life Beyond Business
When I’m not leading our team or designing brands, you’ll likely find me exploring regional Victoria, supporting local hospitality venues, or enjoying time with our American Staffy, Porter, and our cat, Mr. Bingley.
Building a business alongside my wife has been one of the most meaningful parts of my journey. We care deeply about creating a studio that supports not only our clients, but our team and our life together.
Her role in The KH Studio: Alyssa leads our clients through our KH Brand Experiences while overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring both creative excellence and seamless studio delivery.
