We recently had the pleasure of working alongside Andy and the team to launch the new website for Whitby — a venue you probably knew and loved as The Boardwalk Bendigo.
While the team underwent a complete brand transformation — including a new name, visual identity, and in-venue refresh — we were brought on to lead the digital piece of the puzzle: designing and building a website that captured the heart of Whitby and brought their new brand to life online.

Formerly known as The Boardwalk, Whitby has always had a reputation for warm hospitality, seriously good food, and those iconic lakeside views of Lake Weeroona.
Now, under a fresh new brand, the venue needed a website that could serve a few key purposes:

We structured the website to speak to Whitby's three key audiences: casual diners, event hosts, and couples planning their wedding. Each section has a dedicated landing space with clear actions, playful headings, and vibrant photography that showcases exactly what makes this place special.
The site also includes:

▸ Subtle nods to the old name for recognition and transition
